A scientist's dream
Let us imagine a scene in which a scientist places the atoms,
or even the molecules contained in living tissue,
in an extremely sophisticated transformation device,
and succeeds in producing the simplest possible amoeba-like cell.
Life would have been artificially, scientifically created.
The social impact would be considerable.
