The Quantification of Rhythm What we eventually hope to achieve is a measurement of the precise degree of movement/rest
in a Beat/Off-beat Cell at any given point in a piece of music. We will procede in
gradual stages to achieve this ambitious goal and start by placing various examples
of rhythmical phenomena in order once we have established, within a given parameter,
what is more or less closing (or opening).
