Now, after you have produced the complete Tetrad lines, you can apply
     (a) complete substitution (for the entire length of the chord), or
     (b) partial substitution (for part of the length of the chord),
on the "Natural Canon" tetrad swings of the preceding (Voice-leading) test.
Orbit numbers will always designate -
the functions of a chord :0,1,2,3,
     or their substitutions :0(3),1(3),1(0).
Don't forget to place these numbers beside each note.

On the Voice-leading-A Swing
With the chords TONIC-DOMINANT-TONIC-DOMINANT
1. In G (on G6) -Orbit 1(G),Orbit 2(B),Orbit 3(E),Orbit 0(D)
apply complete substitution0(3)on eachOrbit 3(E replaced by D)
2. In F -Orbit 1,Orbit 0,Orbit 3,Orbit 2
     apply partial substitution0(3)-3by dividing eachOrbit 3in 2 note-values (D replaced by C-D)

With the chords TONIC-COUNTER-TONIC-COUNTER
3. In C (on C+7) -Orbit 0(C),Orbit 1(G),Orbit 2(E),Orbit 3(B)
apply complete substitution1(0)on eachOrbit 0(C replaced by G)
4. In D -Orbit 0,Orbit 3,Orbit 2,Orbit 1
     apply partial substitution1(0)-0by dividing eachOrbit 0in 2 note-values (D replaced by A-D)

On the Voice-leading-B Swing
With the chords DOMINANT-TONIC-DOMINANT-TONIC-DOMINANT-TONIC
5. In D (on A7) -Orbit 1(E),Orbit 3(G),Orbit 0(A),Orbit 2(C#)
apply complete substitution1(3)on eachOrbit 3(G replaced by E)
6. In Bb -Orbit 3,Orbit 1,Orbit 0,Orbit 2
     apply partial substitution1(3)-3by dividing eachOrbit 3in 2 note-values (Eb replaced by C-Eb)

With the chords COUNTER-TONIC-COUNTER-TONIC-COUNTER-TONIC
7. In G (on C6) -Orbit 3(A),Orbit 2(E),Orbit 0(G),Orbit 1(C)
     apply partial substitution1(3)-0(3)-3by dividing eachOrbit 3in 3 note-values (A replaced by C-G- A)
8. In F -Orbit 2,Orbit 3,Orbit 0,Orbit 1
     apply partial substitution1(3)-0(3)-3-1(3), dividing eachOrbit 3in 4 note-values
          (G replaced by Bb-F-G-Bb)

On the Voice-leading-C Swing
With the chords TONIC-DOMINANT
9. In F -Orbit 3,Orbit 2,Orbit 1,Orbit 0
apply complete substitution1(3)on eachOrbit 3(D replaced by F)

With the chords TONIC-COUNTER
10. In D -Orbit 0(A),Orbit 3(E),Orbit 2(G),Orbit 1(C)
     apply partial substitution1(3)-3by dividing eachOrbit 3in 2 note-values (C replaced by A-C)

Most of these examples (not 3 and 4) "close" by themselves
with the substitution ofOrbit 3at the beginning of each chord.
